HT-1700
HT-1700 is a dense, heat treated and high-grade heavy-duty welding insulation blanket. With a tight and dense satin weave pattern it results in a flexible, stronger yet more compact welding blanket for moderate to heavy duty welding. Thickness and structure increase the thermal conductivity enabling it to absorb heat easily, distributing unwanted excess energy across a larger area of the blanket. The HT-1700 blanket has a much higher tolerance point at impact and acts as an effective heat retardant which prevents a rapid build up of heat energy effectively cooling the molten sparks temperature before it can sustain a burn through. The 1700 Series is used widely in industries where welding may be hazardous including Petrochemical and Oil/Gas Refineries.
