HT-1040 Silicone coated fabrics are high temperature-based textiles which have been coated with a specially formulated silicone rubber compound. The silicone coating extends the life of the welding blanket while providing oil and water resistance as well as greater abrasion, puncture and tear protection. The HTSO series is ideal when used for insulation and jacketing systems. The silicone coating provides tough resistance to acids, chemicals and heat while still being flexible and easy to fabricate into removable insulation covers, pads, welding drapes and blankets. HTSO-1040 has superior qualities for reusable covers, removable insulation pads, flange and valve covers, expansion joints, bellows, welding curtains and equipment covers.
